This annual event brings us together as a singing community to recall our friends and remember their contributions to the company, on and off the stage. DVOC President Sandy Day has selected a program of arias and ensembles designed to remind friends and family of the joy that this opera company brought to the lives of departed members, singers and fans alike.
The afternoon's singers, tenor Doug Rowland, soprano Amelia Wilber, bass-baritone Matthew Zimnoch, mezzo-soprano Ashley Colabella, baritone Alan Rosenbaum, and mezzo-soprano Alyssa Lehman, accompanied by pianist Jon Dulik's artistic interpretations of an exciting array of arias and ensembles from operas including Rigoletto, Carmen, L'Africaine, Il Forza del Destino, Samson and Delilah, and Herodiade.
Admission is a free-will donation to DVOC.
Cathedral Village, a senior living community, is located at 600 E. Cathedral Road, Philadelphia, PA 19128. It is a handicapped accessible facility with a large parking lot. The concert will take place in the social hall directly across the drive from the main lobby.
