Why do we always refer to the devil as something evil? It is spelled differently to begin with. As young kids we were taught to fear the devil in every way but we weren't taught to do good just for the sake of being good boys and girls. We only operate on fears. I don't think this is healthy. We tend to blame the devil for every wrong and sad thing that happen to us. Little did we know that no one is really in control here but ourselves. We need to manage ourselves and be responsible for every action we do.

Why in the world would anyone want to use the devil as reference to something elegant? Well maybe if you are going to perceive the devil as evil, I wouldn't be surprised if you will have that reaction. We tend to blame third party movements for our own misfortunes and wrong decisions. It's not the devil that forced us to sleep with married women. The devil will not be in any way interested or happy if we steal. What will he gain with that really? He is a devil. So maybe he will me more concerned with counting souls and sins, rather than worldly subjects. If you will do your research on what he does exactly, all he had been doing is recording your bad deeds pretty much like Santa except instead of simply refusing Christmas wishes, he makes sure you pay for everything you did. That must be a really cool job.
